First three chapters of my Memoirs in English. The biography tells the youth and the earliest decades of the adulthood of a Frenchman who was born in 1938. He grew up in the idea to be a general practitionner in Brittany like his father. Mostly because of failures linked with immaturity his destiny led him to achieve an academic career in radiology in prestigious university hospitals of Paris, mainly the Hospital Necker. Since the early 70ies he managed an intensive medical, educational and investigative activity onto both national and international objectives. He was an expert in genitouroradiology (GU imaging), ultrasonography, contrast media, endocrine gland imaging (parathyroid glands, telemedicine, geriatric radiology, functional imaging...) He was an active officer of the International Society of Radiology at the origin of the XVIth International Congress of Radiology, Paris, 1989. He brought the six continents in active cooperations in multinational events. He speaks a bizarre English language easily understood all over the world. He speaks Spanish as well... and French, of course. Since 2000 he is emeritus professor at the Université Paris Descartes. He deserves his life to the history of medicine and medical imaging, mutimedia publications, writing, museology, photography, cinematography...
