The world humanity needs humanist projects. Money means nothing since yesterday one had a couple of peanut for one box, today it's one peanut, tomorrow it will be a look at a peanut.
Does Paris still have a good reputation? A reputation based upon a fake is a source of disappointment then of bashing. The 3 bids for the Olympic Games in Paris resulted from an actual amateurism of the committees leaders demonstrating the lack of understanding of what the world has become. The French politicians and the French managers are still thinking they live in the same country in the same world they were in 1980.
The only room France and Paris have at an universal standard comes from the heritage of their fight against the misery of the French people. This is assessed by the huge capital brought by the numerous hospitals inherited from the whole 2nd Millennium. This is why I promote the project of the transformation of Hôtel-Dieu of Paris in a Universal Temple for Health and Culture federating all other obsolete hospitals in educational centers for the populations linked within The Internet. Paris still hosts UNESCO that needs to be revitalized by a deal sponsored by the United Nations motivated by the new dangers the humanity is already facing or is supposed to face during the 3rd Millennium starting now and being oriented to the Space Conquest.
The brains aren't mature yet and the conflict between the transhumanism and the creationism risks to be the trigger of a planetary lethal war game around 2050. The world isn't expecting another Stalin or Roosevelt. It needs a new Hippocrates of Kos taking into account what Confucius and Buddhah have implemented in billions of humans who aren't monotheist like the less numerous judeo-islamo-christians still are.
Personally I'm nothing but a 76-year-oldhman born in France to be a citizen of the world practicing medicine under Hippocrates's oath rigid requirements which are daily violated all over the world. As a retired doctor as well as a sick-patient, I'm meeting with more and more case reports of misdiagnosing ans mistreatment of diseases involving the physical and/or mental and/or social health of humans belonging to all social classes of individuals even the richest ones! Zt the origin, malpractice is a recent American invent involving the whole world since humanity exists but we aren't living in Jurassic Park anymore.
May I quote Blaise Pascal who wrote that sentence in Paris 4 centuries ago only: ""Man is only a reed, the weakest in nature, but he is a thinking reed. There is no need for the whole universe to take up arms to crush him: a vapour, a drop of water is enough to kill him. but even if the universe were to crush him, man would still be nobler than his slayer, because he knows that he is dying and the advantage the universe has over him. The universe knows none of this."
Anne Hidalgo, a smart woman born in Spain, who's the skilled new Mayor of Paris, has to convince the world humanity and their leaders that Paris, capital of France, is still able to nest similar genius. There's nothing more appropriate than the Hotel-Dieu transform as previously suggested into a cultural complex dedicated to the philosophy of health defined and refurbished from the European history of Medicine and Biology when we're ready to celebrate the 850th anniversary of our oldest national hospital and one of the oldest in the world.
